Lead Melbourne's Premier Neurodiversity-Affirming Children's Therapy Service
Following IPC Health's recent acquisition, Scribble Children's Therapy is seeking a visionary leader to drive the next chapter of growth.
About Scribble
Since 2019, Scribble has established itself as Melbourne's leading neurodiversity-affirming therapy service - a safe place where neurodivergent children are recognised, celebrated, and supported. Operating across three locations with 29 passionate staff, we've built a young, dynamic culture that delivers exceptional outcomes through positive play practices. Demand for services is high and is expected to continue to increase.
The Opportunity
This acquisition will enable expansion into new locations and additional allied health services, while requiring skilled leadership to preserve Scribble's distinctive culture during the transition from a founder-led to board governance model.
The Role
Reporting to the newly appointed Board, you'll provide visionary leadership to drive growth, build strategic partnerships to promote the brand, foster our culture of innovation, ensure sound financial and governance practices, and oversee strong clinical governance across all services. The General Manager will also be hands-on in managing staff and issues as they arise on a daily basis.
What We're Seeking
Essential:
- Passion for improving the quality of life for the children and families Scribble supports
- Proven executive leadership, preferably with Board reporting experience and in healthcare
- Track record of driving business growth and operational excellence
- Pro-active approach to building collaborations and partnerships
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Financial management expertise and profitability focus
- Experience with contemporary marketing channels including social media
Desirable:
- NDIS knowledge and experience
- Clinical governance experience in therapeutic settings
Why Join Scribble?
This role offers the rare combination of meaningful social impact, professional growth, and the resources to achieve ambitious goals. You'll lead an organisation that is fast-paced, where mission drives everything, innovation thrives, and the opportunity see firsthand how neurodiversity-affirming approaches transform lives.
