About EDV

EDV is a progressive, values-driven organisation combining clinical expertise with lived experience wisdom, delivering peer-led and clinical services rooted in authenticity, courage, optimism and inclusion. With a $3.2M budget, 40 staff and ~20 volunteers, EDV is progressing strongly against their 2023–26 strategy with growing sector recognition. EDV has embedded new service models—now they're positioned to drive greater impact, deepen partnerships, and build financial sustainability.

The Opportunity

Reporting to an engaged Board, you'll lead EDV's strategic priorities, foster partnerships, and build a high-performing values-aligned culture. You'll manage a $3.2M budget, diversify funding streams, and strengthen government partnerships. Key accountabilities:

• Centre lived experience across strategy, culture and service delivery
• Execute strategic priorities and establish EDV as a leading eating disorder authority
• Lead critical government funding negotiation and diversify revenue streams
• Build a capable, engaged team and ensure operational excellence

What You'll Bring

• Proven senior executive leadership (preferably CEO equivalent)
• Deep understanding of Australian healthcare and government partnerships
• Outstanding stakeholder engagement and strategic planning expertise
• Demonstrated financial stewardship and budget management
• Strong commitment to lived experience leadership and values-driven practice
• Exceptional interpersonal skills

Highly valued: Lived experience of eating disorders, health qualifications, Victorian health sector experience, revenue diversification track record, and demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.
