IPC Health is one of the largest providers of community health service in Victoria, operating in the Western suburbs of Melbourne. IPC Health exists so that communities are healthy and well, providing a full spectrum of care and support through a single point of contact and consistent approach to healthcare. IPC Health’s primary vision is to make the highest quality primary health care accessible to all who need it. Two vacancies will become available in 2026 to join the Board of IPC Health, so we are seeking applications from experienced Board professionals with one or more of the following expert skills: 

  • Clinical Governance
  • Digital Health, Technology and Cyber Security
  • Marketing
  • Finance, Audit and Risk (CPA or Institute of Chartered Accountants required)

As an experienced Board professional you will also possess some of the following skills, experience and personal attributes:

  • Strategic Leadership - Demonstrated ability to set, review and monitor strategy with a focus on business diversification, risk management and driving organisational innovation and learning 
  • Financial Literacy & Governance - Strong financial acumen combined with broad experience across multiple disciplines to support effective board oversight 
  • Sector Knowledge - Deep understanding of community health service delivery in competitive markets, including person-centred care approaches and service co-design principles 
  • Partnership Development - Proven capability in building and maintaining strategic partnerships across industry, government funding bodies and community stakeholders 
  • Critical Thinking & Communication - Constructive questioning skills, clear communication abilities and a collaborative approach that strengthens board deliberations 
  • Values Alignment - Personal and professional values demonstrably aligned to IPC Health's mission, purpose and culture, with commitment to the organisation's strategic goals
