With annual revenue of $120 million, over 1,000 staff delivering services from 30+ locations, and exciting plans for growth during a pivotal period of transformation, cohealth would like to invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Board Chair to lead the organisation's strategic direction and governance.

cohealth seeks an experienced Chair/experienced Board Director with expertise in large organisations, ideally with strong health/human services sector knowledge and government relations experience. To be considered, candidates will possess a range of the following skills, knowledge and experience: 

  • Experience as Chair/experienced Board Director with a large organisation/NFP (ideally $150M+ turnover)
  • Health/Human Services sector knowledge with understanding of health systems
  • Government expertise and regulatory environment experience
  • Contemporary governance skills with business and commercial acumen
  • Entrepreneurial approach to support diverse income stream development
  • Strategic leadership with courage to address difficult issues
  • Effective stakeholder engagement and communication at all levels
  • Facilitates rather than dictates, creating space for diverse opinions
  • Connected to community with strong listening skills
