About the Role

As Chief Racing Integrity Officer, you will be at the forefront of implementing Tasmania's groundbreaking racing industry reforms. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of racing integrity and animal welfare standards across thoroughbred, harness, and greyhound racing in the state.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the new Integrity Unit within Tasracing
  • Oversee pre-race day and race day operations, stewards, and daily animal welfare activities
  • Assess and investigate complex integrity matters
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies on sensitive cases
  • Implement and maintain rigorous integrity standards across all racing codes
  • Work closely with the CEO and Racing Integrity Commissioner to drive industry-wide reforms

The Ideal Candidate

  • Extensive experience in racing regulatory compliance and integrity management
  • Strong knowledge of the racing industry and associated integrity challenges
