Michael has managed Executive Search assignments for over fourteen years, completing many campaigns for high profile organisations across government departments and statutory bodies, the health, education, and not-for-profit sectors. Specialising in these sectors, Michael understands some of the unique requirements and high profiles of these positions, and as such has been able to deliver outstanding results whilst maintaining the discretion and confidence of both clients and candidates.

Michael continues to forge solid relationships with his clients and builds an understanding of their immediate and long term executive recruitment needs, leveraging his knowledge and networks to find the right person to match their requirements. He has a ‘partnering’ rather than a transactional style that endeavours to promote trust and transparency throughout the assignment to ensure that satisfaction and value are achieved.

With established business relationships and networks in both commercial and public sectors and hands-on industry experience working in Public Sector environments, Michael is well-positioned to provide strategic market advice to clients about senior executive profiles and appropriate attraction, sourcing and search methodologies.

Prior to establishing Searchlight, he worked for a leading international executive search firm.

Jason has spent the last two decades helping commercial organisations and organisations transforming into corporate entities find quality leaders for their executive teams.

He specialises in C-level and general management recruitment, with a focus on food primary production & manufacturing, FMCG, utilities, energy, construction, professional services and education sectors. This has seen him deliver services to employers in regional and interstate locations throughout Australia. Jason’s approach to building enduring, honest and respectful relationships with both employers and candidates, underpins everything he does. He has expertise in deploying comprehensive executive searches, accessing hard to find talent, in competitive environments. Well versed in benchmarking executives and professionals, Jason is skilled in measuring a multitude of leadership capabilities, from organisational transformation and business development to the delivery of hard commercial results. Prior to establishing Searchlight he had a varied and highly successful career with a global listed recruitment company, and was instrumental in establishing profitably their executive search practice in Victoria.

Sanjib Roy

Sanjib has a wealth of experience in the government, emergency services, health and the not-for-profit sectors. Over the last 30 years he has worked in senior roles across these sectors including the holding the positions of CEO and Managing Director. He also has experience as a non-executive director.

He is a strategic and creative thinker, doer and an avid problem solver. He is a well-respected mentor-coach for senior executives and their executive management teams. He is passionate about assisting organisations exceed their business targets by creating positive and enduring value for all stakeholders. He works in strong partnerships with organisations and executives to help develop their strategic plans, HR plans, policies and procedures. He helps organisation conduct reviews and restructure themselves so that they can successfully meet the challenges of the future. He also conducts searches for talented executives using his deep and extensive networks. He believes in teamwork and in building strong, respectful and productive relationships which create value for all. He is well positioned to help organisations and executives in a range of ways.

He has a B.A, B.Sc (hons), M.Econ, Dip in Corp Directorship and is a long standing Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management. He is a MAICD and MAHRI.
